Kundalini Dance

About the Practice

Kundalini Dance™ is an initiatory, body-led practice — and it is also deeply life-giving, enlivening, and expansive.

Rooted in tantric principles of inner union, this work engages the body as a living field of intelligence. Through movement, breath, sound, and music, energy is invited to move — clearing space, softening stuck places, and opening the body to new information, insight, creative flow, and regulation.

Each session carries a particular energetic focus, often aligned with a chakra theme. What emerges doesn’t stay contained to the dance itself; the practice continues to work between sessions, bringing awareness to patterns, sensations, emotions, and creative impulses as they arise in daily life. While this work draws from tantric and shamanic lineages, no prior experience is required.

The dance becomes a way of moving energy through the field — not by forcing change, but by allowing what is ready to shift to do so organically.

While this work can bring shadowed or tender material to the surface, it does so in a way that is deeply feminine, nourishing, sensual, and honest. Many women leave feeling more embodied, empowered, clear, and connected.

This is not a once-a-week class.
It is a three-month experiential process — a living practice you engage with over time.

Below is how this practice is being held right now in the Nourish container.

  • Women often describe this work as:

    • Grounding and expansive at the same time

    • Sensual, expressive, and alive

    • Clarifying — mentally, emotionally, creatively

    • Empowering without being aggressive

    • Shadow-aware, but not dark or overwhelming

This practice meets you where you are — and invites more of you forward.

  • This practice may be supportive if you:

    • Feel drawn to embodied, feminine pathways of transformation

    • Desire movement that is expressive, devotional, and alive

    • Are open to an ongoing process rather than a one-off experience

    • Want to explore energy, creativity, and truth through the body

    • Appreciate depth that is nourishing rather than depleting

This circle may not be the right fit if you:

    • Are looking for a purely restorative or relaxation-only practice

    • Want a quick fix or a single “breakthrough” experience

    • Prefer a purely cognitive or discussion-based approach

If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to reach out and feel into it together.

  • Kundalini Dance is a powerful and pleasure-forward practice that can bring energy, emotion, and insight into motion. While the container is held with care, consent, and grounding, participants are responsible for listening to their own bodies and pacing themselves.

This work is not a substitute for therapy or medical care, but it can be a deeply supportive complement to other forms of healing and growth.

    Nothing is forced or rushed.

The process tends to meet you where you are and go as deep as you are willing (and ready to go).

    The body sets the pace.

  • Kundalini Dance™ is an initiatory and ceremonial body-led movement practice rooted in breath, sound, and somatic intelligence. Each dance we focus on a different chakra, diving deep into an alchemical transformational process, where we cultivate self-awareness and a loving presence to meet ourselves as we are. This ecstatic, devotional dance practice allows you to commune deeply with yourself and Divinity. Shakti, the Divine Feminine, inspires you to feel, express, and create as she rises upwards to merge with the Divine Masculine, Shiva, expanding light, truth and love deeply in your heart.

The feminine/masculine aspect of this practice has nothing to do with socially constructed genders of male or female. As principles, the Feminine and Masculine are qualities that exist in all of Creation and that each of us experience in varying degrees.

This White Tantra practice of sacred inner union strengthens our connection to the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energetic flows of creation in our own bodies and is primarily for inner awakening and transformation. These keys can be used in lovemaking yet, it is primarily about finding wholeness within. At each chakra we marry the Divine Feminine ( Shakti ) and the Divine Masculine ( Shiva ) within. Their energetic reunion creates an ecstatic starburst in your cells that awakens the highest possibility of your soul.

NOURISH

A Kundalini Dance & Somatics Circle

February–May | Maple Ridge, BC

Do you desire to feel more confident, grounded, and at home in your body?

Do you feel called to an embodied, feminine practice that is alive, nourishing, and initiatory, one that works with real life rather than pulling you out of it?

Nourish is a three-month Kundalini Dance circle for creative women, mothers, and women in seasons of fertility, transition, and becoming. This is not a drop-in class or a one-off experience. It is a living, embodied practice that unfolds over time.

Held during school hours and limited to a small, intimate group, Nourish offers a potent yet well-contained space to move energy, clear what’s ready to shift, and open to what wants to emerge next.

─Beginning February 24, 2026─

About NOURISH

Nourish is the lens we move through together.

This practice is not about fixing, bypassing, or striving toward an ideal version of yourself. It is about feeding the body-mind-soul system with attention, movement, truth, and care — including the tender, shadowed, and less-polished places that are often left out.

Over nine sessions, we work with nourishment as a lived, embodied experience: learning how energy moves through us, how patterns surface and resolve, and how to stay present with ourselves as life unfolds.

This is feminine, cyclical, honest work, designed to be integrated into daily life.

Come dance and Nourish yourself with us.

~No previous dance experience is required. Just follow the beat, activate the energy through the breath keys, and express in ways that invigorate your soul.~

  • I came to the kundalini dance series quite insecure and lost, fearful and jaded. I left feeling confident, held, excited, optimistic, and in many ways healed. The healing that took place was not just temporary - the shifts are deep, and on a soul level. I am transformed, for good. You can't unlearn internal shifts like that. No words can describe this profound work. You've just got to try it! It's not for the faint hearted, it is deep work. Deep spiritual healing. But I have never experienced such rapid, long-lasting transformation from anything before the way I did from this dance series. I am forever grateful and will forever return to the next!!! <3

Melissa is such a force and through her gentle, compassionate guidance I feel a lot more aligned and free  after completing this course. I highly recommend this work to anyone seeking a radical shift in their lives."

Hi beauty — I’m Melissa. I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a Birth Doula, Kundalini Dance Facilitator and Ceremonialist, Photographer, Oracle Deck Creator, and twin mama. I share this work because it has shaped me profoundly; Not as a quick fix or a spiritual bypass, but as a way of learning how to live inside my body with greater honesty, trust, and reverence.

Several years ago, after navigating pregnancy loss, I found myself in a deep rupture with my body and my sense of identity. I felt betrayed by my body, disoriented, and unsure of who I was becoming. My healing journey led me into embodied and somatic practices, and eventually into Kundalini Dance, at a time when I didn’t yet have language for what was unfolding.

What I encountered through this work was not a dramatic resolution, but a gradual return: a rebuilding of relationship with my body, my womanhood, and the parts of me that were tender, scared, powerful, and alive. Kundalini Dance became a place where I could move grief, listen deeply, and reconnect with the intelligence held in my body and breath.

Over time, this practice anchored me more fully into my creative power, my biology, and my inner knowing. It taught me how to stay present with what was real, even when life was uncertain, and how to allow transformation to emerge organically rather than be forced.

Today, I hold this work with humility and care. My facilitation is grounded, consent-informed, and deeply attuned to real life — especially for women navigating fertility journeys, motherhood, creative seasons, and identity transitions. I am not here to fix or awaken anyone, but to offer a well-held space where truth can move through the body and be integrated over time.

It would be an honor to share this practice with you, and to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels embodied, potent, and nourishing.

See you on the dance floor.
